As a multi-vendor certified automation partner company we are currently seeking new Service Technicians to join our expanding professional NZ Automation team.
Successful applicants will be required to take ownership of providing high quality service and support to our clients in a timely manner, remaining compliant to all safety, environmental and quality requirements; whilst ensuring profitability for the organization.
The ability to travel within the greater Auckland area and beyond to various sites is a requirement of the role.
Key Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
Ensuring the effective and timely service of complex installations, maintenance and repairs on customer installed base.
Identification of new opportunities while attending customer sites to promote Services growth.
Undertaking of Small works projects including cost effective and efficient design of BMS HVAC controls systems
Supervision of, and in some cases preparation of fundamental specification, programming, commissioning, final tuning of HVAC controls
Accurate and timely provision of basic architecture to estimators and estimation support
Providing engineering and commissioning assistance on projects as required
The ability to own and follow through on commitments to completion.
Ability to work independently without supervision.
Essential Criteria:
Tertiary or trade qualifications in mechanical, electrical or electronic discipline
At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience in any of Schneider/Tridium Niagara/ Siemens/Alerton/Honeywell engineering environments
A valid NZ full or restricted electrical registration as well as an EWRB license (advantageous)
A technical knowledge of Building Automation, Energy Management, System Integration, Optimisation of Chiller Plant Controls and HVAC Solutions.
The ability to take ownership of your work and the ability to coordinate across trades and activities on site.
Ability to provide customers with detailed information that provides confidence in what we are proposing and delivering.
The ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Excellent verbal & written communication and reporting skills.
Thorough working knowledge of computers, operating systems, and associated peripherals.
Proficiency in Office 365 suite, Visio, Teams, CAD, Project, or similar products.
Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
Reliable, self-motivated, and well presented.
Must hold a valid unencumbered driving license.
